First things first, the Dolphins have released JD Folsom in favor of former Louisville WR Patrick Carter on the practice squad. Brandon Marshall and Channing Crowder both returned to practice this afternoon.
The Miami Dolphins may be all but officially eliminated from the playoffs but that doesn’t keep them from having a bit of fun, and in some cases at each other’s expense. Last weekend I toured the training facility and was amazed at the spacious new players dining lounge that is ground level and looks out to the practice field. In years past it was simply an extension of the dining room with a tarp around it.
As we moved ourselves in and out of the facility corridors, past the position meeting rooms, through the locker room, and eventually out to the practice bubble, the two pictures on page two caught my eye the most. So much that I had to share them.
You can see more pictures from the game on my Flickr account found here. In the meantime hop to page two and see two of the photos I couldn’t resist posting.
In this first image, some of the Dolphins have apparently taken to having a little fun with one of the shorter members of the team. I have blacked out the name on the sign out of respect for the party and respect for the Dolphins for letting us have this access. Still, it’s pretty funny. The urinal is a kids size.
In this second photo, I found myself laughing at the duality of the image. Channing Crowder is standing on the sideline, likely injured. The BFF tag is funny as hell. It hangs on the cabinet door on Crowder’s locker. The half photo above is a Cameron Wake football card from the CFL
