This information does not come from me, so you can take this one to the bank…or at least blame someone else if it’s wrong. Omar Kelly of the Sun-Sentinel is reporting that Miami Dolphins QB coach, David Lee, and the founding father of the Dolphins version of the Wild Cat, is heading back to the college ranks. Lee will team up with Ole Miss HC Houston Nutt as the teams offensive coordinator.
Lee made a few headlines last off-season when he worked with impending draftee Tim Tebow, and was criticized often for his work with Chad Henne. Lee has been the QB coach in Miami since 2008.
An related tweet from someone at the NFL offices, according to an internet website, says that Mike Nolan and some of his staff wish to leave the Dolphins to join Jason Garrett in Dallas. The move would be a lateral move and is prohibited by the league unless of course the Dolphins allowed Nolan to leave. We’ll keep you poasted.
