Breaking News: Bryan Cox Returns

The venerable and socially inept Bryan Cox is returning to the Miami Dolphins as a pass rushing coach.  A new position that has been created strictly for him.  Cox will work with 2nd year LB Koa Misi and Pro-Bowler Cameron Wake along with the other Dolphins pass rushers to make them better.

Cox who started his career in Miami was infamous for his two handed two finger salute to the fans of Buffalo at their Orchard Park stadium.  A loud, physical talent, Cox was one of only a few loudmouth players who could back up his words on the field.

Chances are, he is likely the same person as he was back there.  Cox is going to try and ignite some attitude in this line that is sorely lacking.  It’s a welcome site to see him back in Miami.  Let’s just hope he can coach.

cox should do a fine job coaching. everyone remembers he had a ‘tude, but i never heard anybody ever say he wasn’t coachable. to me that means he took the coaching in and he can relay it to his guys. i think it’s a good fit…we need the angry fins again with a chip on their shoulders! we don’t need extra penalties but controlled anger. if anyone remembers the culture changed in miami when 51 came to town! and it changed for the good!! now when we hit somebody maybe they’ll remember it!! and not want to get hit like that again!!
