Jets Jettison JT

The New York Jets used Jason Taylor long enough to piss off Miami fans, today, the deemed him to expensive and cut the former Phin.

Taylor will now hit free agency when and if it begins but don’t expect him to return to Miamiunless it’s for a ceremonial retirement contract. Those bridges are all but burned to yhe ground. Recently Taylor was asked if he would ever play for the Dolphins, to which he replied “no”.

I am sure there is a team that could use his services, especially if they have a young OLB/DE who needs mentoring. He could be a solid backup if not starter. Not in Miami though.

When JT went to the Jets I said he wouldn’t fit their 3-4 scheme any better than he did ours, 36 tackles and 5 sacks later I’d say I was right. What he needs to do is go find a 4-3 team to be a DE in and forget the 3-4 OLB crap that simply isn’t a fit for him.

LOL…I tend to think what he needs to do is retire.
