In what can only be described, at least to me, as idiotic, a group of former NFL players, mainly Carl Eller and Priest Holmes have filed a lawsuit against the NFL. Not for increased care as “ex-players”, not for more money, but instead in an effort to halt the draft. They literally are asking the courts to put an injunction in place to stop next months draft.
Making even less sense is that not one of the plaintiffs is a member of the incoming draft class. The plaintiffs also are not hinting at damages done to them by the NFL.
I simply can’t make heads or tails of this one at all. I guess it’s the season to file lawsuits. It has been reported that the PSL owner that recently filed a lawsuit against the NFL and the teams over the lockout will be tossed out soon as well.
Anyone got any legit legs to stand on for a lawsuit? I lost about 1,000 visitors when I started reporting about it…should I claim it’s the leagues fault or should I just stop posting articles about it?
I would post a poll to find out but I think I know the answer to that…then I wouldn’t have anything to write about at all…:)
