All-Time Miami Dolphins TE's

We continue the All-Time Greatest Miami Dolphins team today with the poll on the best TE’s that have played for the Phins.  The winners will join Earl Morrall, Larry Csonka, Mercury Morris, Ricky Williams, and our recently added WR’s, Mark Clayton, Mark Duper, OJ McDuffie, Paul Warfield, and Nat Moore.

Starting today you will vote for the best TE’s in Dolphins history.  You can only vote for two.  This should be an interesting vote as the Dolphins have had some pretty good TE’s over the course of their existence.  I will be interested to see where this one goes.

Dick's Sporting Goods presents "Hell Week":

  • Brian Miller

Im actually surprised by this. Thought it might be a bit closer than I thought, but didn’t expect to see this outcome.

Figured that Mandich would be the top voter getter with Joe Rose and Keith Jackson battling out for second with Rose having the lead. Surprised.

I know that Mandich the broadcaster was beloved by all (myself included), but as a player the guy never gained more than 375 yards in a season in his entire career. He only had 130 catches and 1494 yards TOTAL.

McMichael and Jackson, for comparison, had 387 and 441 – though most of Jackson’s were had in Philly. Even though he spent only three years here, Jackson STILL caught more than Mandich – 146c/1880yds! Obviously their eras were very different and the Mandich-era TE’s were more blockers than pass catchers… but come on, people!
