Jake Long Voted Best NFL Offensive Lineman

Jake Long is the best offensive lineman in football.

If you have access to NFL Network then tune in Sunday night or set your DVR’s and check out Jake Long on the NFL’s top 100. Long will be ranked between 21-30 and will be the highest ranked Miami Dolphin of all. The list was voted upon by current NFL players, the guys who have to square off against Long on a regular basis. This is a pretty big honor for Long, who was rated the best offensive linemen in football after just three seasons in the league.

For those who keep score, Matt Ryan was ranked 52nd. Oftentime the two have been linked in debates about whether Miami ultimately erred in not selecting Ryan. Though this is far from an end to that debate, it’s certainly a nice notch for the Jake Long supporters in that discussion (not that any Fin fan doesn’t already love Long). As you watch his peers discuss how Long is the best lineman in the league, and you read reports about Long leading player-organized workouts, I don’t think there’s any way you can argue he wasn’t a worthy first overall pick.

Regardless, tune in Sunday night and watch Jake Long get his due from his NFL peers.
