Who Is The Best RB Option

When the lockout is lifted...sorry, had to say that for SOBE!  Wink, wink, nod, nod…say no more, but seriously when it is lifted the Miami Dolphins are expected to be movers and shakers.  Probably not as active as well all would hope they would be but they may find a few players here and there.  According to a report on ESPN and reported on our forums by the aforementioned “SOBE”, the Dolphins are approximately 12 million under the cap without making any roster moves, restructures, or flat out cuts.  So their position could improve considerably if they want it to.

Fans expect the Dolphins to target interior offensive lineman, a quarterback, LB, safety, and of course running back.  Some of the names mentioned in fly-by rumors are Vince Young, Donovan McNabb, Kyle Orton, at quarterback, Ray Edwards at DE/LB, a myriad of olineman, and just about every player on the FA market at RB.

But who do you want or see the Dolphins looking at for their vacant RB holes?  Choose two.

Daniel Thomas is going to pound the ball, so we need some quick guys. Lately there has been a lot of talk about us and Reggie Bush, but that’s impossible as I see it, and not realistic. He wants to stay in NO, and they probably want to try and get him to take a big pay cut. With that being said he is a receiving back, and Kevin Smith actually has a better YPC than Bush, so why not look at him if that’s the type of back that they want. Plus we still have Kory Sheets who got hurt last year but dude is crazy fast and can take it to the house at any time. I really think that they should give him a fair shot, I’ve heard talk of Sproles, but Sheets is the same player, just not as known. On another subject….LB. Get rid of Crowder!! I think if we can get an OLB or ILB it would be great. Misi can play inside or outside, I think he is that smart. I also think we should try and pick up Zach Diles from Houston. He was playing OLB where Williams is going to line up now. He is fast, a workhorse, play special teams, and can tackle. I think he could come in and step into Crowder’s spot easily and do a better job.

Kevin Smith and the best undrafted, speed back you can find.

I agree with you on Crowder
