A Look At The Undrafted Free Agents

This is a very good look at some of the ex-college footballers who went un-drafted this past April by Gil Brandt of NFL.com.  There are some intriguing options at various positions of need.  The only real problem will be getting the time to learn the NFL systems.  Un-drafted rookies, as it says in the article below benefit more from the off-season programs than veterans and to some degree drafted rookies.  It’s really the one solid shot they have to impress their coaches.

This year, with the lockout, these players are not only without teams but literally have no idea if after they sign with a club if in another month they will be employed at all.  Couple that with the uncertainty of the UFL league who announced yesterday a one month delay in the start of it’s training camp and some of these players better hope they got the education they should have been going to college first for.

At least him and I agree on McDaniels

I’ve been saying it since the draft. Sign Devlin!! Great competition for Henne.

    • Lee

I agree with picking up Devlin. Throw him right into the starter sompetition with Henne & which ever veteran they pick up.
