The Miami Dolphins slashed employee salaries back in May. Some employees received up to 20 percent pay cuts. Today, the Miami Herald is reporting that a letter is being sent to all Miami employees from CEO Mike Dee that effective immediately, all salaries will return to the previous rates and that in their next pay checks, employees will receive a lump sum payout of all money that was lost during the lockout.
Dolphins owner Stephen Ross had indicated that he would repay all lost wages if no pre-season games were lost. While the Hall of Fame game was cancelled, no Miami pre-season games were trimmed. Ross is keeping his word.
Congrats to the Miami Dolphins employees who stuck it out despite the fact they had zero control over the impasse.
