The 4 month lockout is over and the NFL will resume work this week.

The NFL players unanimously voted to approve the labor agreement that was negotiated with the NFL league and owners. The only remaining issue is to have the NFLPA re-certified which will be done as soon as players get into the team facilities, starting Wednesday. It is expected to be approved and is required of the CBA agreement between the players and the league.

Free agency will begin and in keeping with my promise to all of you, I will not be writing any more labor posts unless they pertain directly to the state of the Miami Dolphins or rules that will be in place that I think you should be aware of.  But no more posts about who caused this mess or who’s side I am on.  It’s done.  It’s over.  The Lockout is history.

At least for another 10 years.

The two sides have agreed and the players have finally voted.  The 10 year agreement has no opt-out clauses so we don’t have to go through this in another 5 years.

So what are your thoughts on this issue finally being resolved?  Let us know in the comments!
