There is a lot of information to digest and some of it is easy, some of it hard, and some of it conjecture. What does appear to be fact, is that starting tonight around 12:01 am or tomorrow 12:01 am for those who feel the need to correct me, the NFL league year will begin.
Many in the mainstream media are saying that starting on Tuesday, teams can begin to sign their draft picks, undrafted rookies, and begin negotiating with their own free agents.
Others believe the above to be true with a couple of additions. Teams will be allowed to work out trades and contract negotiations with unrestricted free agents not on their rosters. The only caveat to that is that the deals can not become official until this Friday. So basically it becomes a legal week of tampering.
In addition, the NFL will roll out training camps in groups of 10. 10 teams first, then another 10, and then the final ten, with the last two teams following that. This will coincide with how teams had structured their camp starts to begin with.
Still, for the masses of NFL fans out there who simply want to see what is going to happen once NFL football resumes, we are about to find out.
