The lockout is over — finally!  One of the first orders of business for Jeff Ireland and the Miami Dolphins will be fill out some of their roster with Undrafted Free Agents (UFAs) — this will begin happening tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10:00 am.  UFAs are players who did not get drafted in the 2011 NFL Draft and, in a normal year, some would have gotten picked up by NFL teams in the hours following the draft.  I suggest that you do not ignore the significance of these pick-ups — please remember Dan Carpenter and Devone Bess were both UFAs.  So, what UFAs should be on the Dolphins radar?

Over a month ago which somehow seems like years ago, I reviewed four UFAs of interest.  Since we all went into hibernation over the last month because of the lockout negotiations, I thought I would review the four again to refresh your memory.  They are all on offense.  You can click on the title of each UFA to read the full article which includes more details.

I was shocked the Phins didn’t go for Locke in the later rounds of the draft. I think they’ll make a push for him.
