The dust has settled a little bit with the Dolphins QB picture.  Tyler Thigpen appears to be heading to the Bills reportedly agreeing to a three year deal — good luck Tyler on your next challenge.  Tavaris Jackson appears to be heading to the Seahawks.  Carson Palmer appears to be heading into retirement as the Bengals are publicly refusing to trade him.  And, Matt Hasselback appears to be heading to the Titans.  The term “appears” is used because deals cannot be finalized until Friday.  If the Dolphins want to pick up a veteran QB, the number of choices is getting smaller to include maybe a trade for Kyle Orton of Denver or the free agent pick up of Marc Bulger or Vince Young to challenge (back-up) Chad Henne.

Speaking of guessing, I suggested Jeff Ireland sign undrafted free agent rookie (UFAR) QB Pat Devlin (Delaware).  I wrote an exclusive article about it back on May 9th.  Yesterday, many reported the Dolphins signed Devlin to a three year deal.  Devlin will likely battle with Tom Brandstater for the 3rd spot on the QB depth chart.  So, what does Pat Devlin bring to the Dolphins?  I would like to provide you with some detailed analysis.
