Breaking News: Miami Dolphins Sign Free Agent

UPDATE:  The Dolphins will host former NY Giant Center Shaun Ohara.  This is an intriguing option as it would allow the Phins to move Pouncey to guard where some believe he is better suited.

The Miami Dolphins, according to the Miami Herald have added ANOTHER free agent.  This time, the Phins have added Ronald Fields from the Denver Broncos.  Fields is a defensive tackle and comes from a team who is in desperate need of defensive line help, he has landed on a team who needs NO defensive line help.

Sense the sarcasm?

The Broncos need defensive lineman and obviously were willing to let this guy go.  I don’t know much about him but I do know that the Dolphins defensive line is the best unit on the team.  So a great big WTF is going on fits with this signing.

Oh and it should be noted that he had 22 tackles in 16 games last year for the Broncos starting none of them.  He did start 16 games in 2009 though.  Well, that answers it.

Maybe the Dolphins are in the process of trading one of their Dlineman…lord knows they will have to cut a few at some point.
