It’s been almost a full week since the NFL started back up again and teams began making moves and changing up their rosters. While teams could not sign free agents or meet with free agents prior to last Friday at 6:00 Pm teams were allowed to negotiate with their agents, sign UDFA’s, their own free agents, and rookies. So after a week of business where does it all stand? Here’s a quick look back at the week that was for the Miami Dolphins.
Tony McDaniel – Phins re-signed their back-up but contributing back-up Dlineman.
Reggie Bush – Phins traded an undisclosed late round draft pick and 2nd year corner Jon Amaya to New Orleans. Bush agreed to a two year restructured deal.
Matt Moore – Miami makes Matt Moore their FA QB signing him to a two year free agent deal.
Kevin Burnett – The former San Diego Charger signs a 5 year free agent deal
Justin Trusnik – The OLB and special teams player from the Browns signs as a free agent
Un-drafted free agents – The Dolphins added 11 UDFA’s most notably Delaware QB Pat Devlin
Draft Picks – Have come to contract terms with all 6 draft selections. All players are practicing.
Channing Crowder – Miami released the 6 year veteran on Friday
Tyler Thigpen – Rejoined Chan Gailey in Buffalo as a free agent
Remaining unsigned free agents – The Dolphins have made no attempts as of yet to retain any of their own remaining free agents.
