The Moss Man Leaveth: Randy Moss Retires

No one would pay me to quit this year!

The high-profile very enigmatic NFL WR, Randy Moss, announced today through his agent that he will retire from the NFL. The former Minnesota Viking, Oakland Raider, New England Patriot, Minnesota Viking again, Tennessee Titan, and free agent has not been able to find a team willing to spend a million dollars on him for half a season.

Sorry, I’m cynical I know.  But the reality is Randy Moss has been a bitch at least once at every stop along his NFL journey and the fact that he can’t find a job when there are plenty of teams needing WR’s is his own fault.  He whined his way out of Minny, Oakland, and eventually New England where he says he absolutely loved being.  Then he practically quit on Vikings in round 2, and barely touched the field for Tennessee.

The reality is that Moss is only good for half a season before he starts his same old routine.  He is a distraction.  Suddenly the media is all over this “sure Hall of Famer”.  The only thing that won’t be missed from Randy Moss is the eventual meltdown in mid-season.  Sorry, no shedding of tears here.

Now watch, Miami will offer him 2 mill not to retire.
