Pro-Bowl Center A Free Agent…Should Miami Dolphins Look?

The Miami Dolphins have Mike Pouncey at center and and a void next to him on the right. Earlier today I wrote that there would be no surprises in the NFL wire as teams pared down to the league mandated rosters of 80.

I was wrong. Something I am getting used to these days.

One name does stand out among the others. Dallas Cowboys 2010 Pro-Bowl center Andre Gurode. Gurode is a 5 time Pro-Bowler and someone that the Dolphins should seriously be looking at.

While the team may indeed have their future set with Mike Pouncey at center, Pouncey has a longer history playing guard and moving him to guard will allow to acclimate better to the NFL.

Truth is, signing Gurode would be a solid first step in fixing a problematic offensive line.

    Why not?

we already have half of them on our team.

Yup, I agree. the O-line is a mess….just simply a mess. They could use someone up there that can push defenders around and open some holes. Bush sucks as a between the tackles runner unless there is a hole…no hole no juke-n-jive Bush in the secondary.
