Cancer Charity Drive: Donate $1.00 & Help Us Fight Cancer

WE HAVE NOT YET MET OUR GOAL!  Thanks to those of you who have supported this drive, your names are on our “Donations” menu page.  Please let’s continue to drive this home.  We need your help so take a moment and get on Paypal and donate at least a dollar to fight cancer.

Earlier this week and again yesterday I posted an article about the Miami Dolphins cycling challenge to raise money to fight cancer and aide in cancer research.  This year, webmasters of Miami Dolphins sites have been tasked with raising over one thousand dollars.  My challenge to all of you was to donate and help us meet this goal.

I know that it’s hard to get behind anything that the Dolphins are doing this year.  It’s almost a why bother feeling.  The team can’t win and they can’t even play consistently.  It makes it difficult to find the desire to donate anything to this cause.  But let’s be clear on this, the Miami Dolphins do more for charity than almost any other NFL franchise and I would challenge any other fan to explain to me what their teams do better than what Miami does.

This year, the money we raise will be donated in the name of Tom Eddie a former webmaster of the site MiamiDolphinsOnline who passed away after a battle with cancer.

Instead of asking you to donate 10, 20, or even more money to this cause, I will ask instead for you to donate 1.00.  ONE DOLLAR.  Go to paypal or go to this link and click DONATE

That’s it.  That’s all I am asking you for.  This site averages a couple of thousand visits a day, imagine if we all donated 1 buck, one time.  We would surpass the goal in a day.  We all can’t afford to donate large amounts of cash but we can afford a dollar.  If you wish to donate more, then donate more, but I’m only asking for one.

Oh, and thanks to Carol M. for her 20.00 dollar donation.  Together we can all fight cancer one dollar at a time.
