Carl Peterson’s Involvement With Dolphins Growing?

Contrary to recent “Carl Peterson will not be joining the Dolphins” comments made by Brian Biggane of the Palm Beach Post who knows Carl Peterson personally, rumors are beginning to circulate around the league that Peterson will have heavy involvement in the direction that the Miami Dolphins move towards following the season.  In some regards that is good as Peterson has been a long time member of the NFL hierarchy and knows his way around the in’s and out’s of every day NFL life.

Peterson would give, is giving, owner Stephen Ross a dependable ear to bend and his addition to the franchise may if nothing else, right a ship that sunk a long time ago.  Unlike former football Czar Bill Parcells, Peterson’s best interest is the team and his personal friend Ross.  There would be no ego for Peterson and it would be highly unlikely that Peterson would simply walk away from an unfinished job.  Whether he would personally be involved at reshaping the team as a GM or as a go-between for Ross and whoever calls the shots for the team remains to be seen.

We will discuss this more in the coming days as it will effect the future of the franchise.  For now, click below for the latest on the subject from Profootballtalk.com.

He destroyed KC and now Czar Rosski wants to allow him to sink the Dolphins farther into the Abyss. Hire Cowher or Gruden and let them make all the decisions. I agree you need a football guy in charge, but a guy who destroyed a franchise no way. Find a Belicheat disciple. They seem to be doing pretty good
