I’m Back…Sort Of

For the first time since the Dolphins lost to Jacksonville in Dan Marino’s final game, I missed a game this past Sunday.   I blame the wife who had to stay an extra day in Ohio to attend her brothers Halloween party forcing me to drive home on Sunday.  I can tell you this, there is not good wireless service in the mountains of West Virginia.  To make matter worse, if that is possible this season, I am battling a harsh bug that seems more like pneumonia than a simple flu bug.

While I’m sure none of you care, and you shouldn’t, I thought I would let you know that I have not simply vanished off the face of the earth but will be back and hopefully running full throttle again on Wednesday or Thursday this week.  For now, however, it’s back to bed where I try and fight this thing off.

    Brian…I had a “flu” that lasted more than a week…it turned into bronchitis…then pnuemonia…

I’ve never missed more than 2 days of work in my life. I’m 40.

After 2 weeks of this misery I finally went to the doctor and he confirmed what my wife had been telling me for the previous 2 weeks.

I missed almost 3 weeks of work. After 2 weeks of this misery I finally went to the doctor and he confirmed what my wife had been telling me for the previous 2 weeks. He prescribed zithromax/zithromiacin and a codine based cough syrup. In 2 days I was significantly better and feeling generally well. In 5 days I was back on my feet at 100% and back to work

I had symptoms of fatigue, persistent cough and general soreness in my muscles.

I’m telling you my friend…don’t mess with it. Go to the doctor. Get the Z-Pac and in 2 days you will be feeling worlds better!

    Get well!
