The Buffalo Bills started the 2011 season out strong. At one point they were the top team in the division. By themselves. Now, ten weeks into the season the Bills find themselves at 5-4 and a game back of the Patriots. It’s not insurmountable but the team has played very poorly in their last two games and are coming to Miami this Sunday who is holding a two game turnaround to their dismal season.
Now word out of Orchard Park, NY is that the Bill have lost their starting center Eric Wood. Wood has been the most productive member of the Bills offensive line. In addition, the Bills lost blitzing DE Kyle Williams earlier in the season. The Bills have been struggling lately to score points and stop opponents from doing the same. The Bills need a win on Sunday or face losing ground in the East and the Dolphins need to continue improving. It all makes for a game that could turn out to be very good.
The Miami Dolphins may have the edge here as they have nothing to play for and thus their backs are not against the wall to win and win now. They can simply go out and play the game. Which more often than not translates into winning. The Bills and the Dolphins always play tough games so this one shouldn’t be any different.
