Dolphins Allow Everyone To Rent FanVision!

Now you can enjoy the same experience that season ticket holders have enjoyed. It’s called “FanVision” and now, you can rent it at the stadium on game days. What is it? Well it’s like having a small TV in your hand throughout the game and you get to direct the action. You can watch replays, you can watch highlights, you can choose what camera angle to watch.. You can enter your fantasy football players into it and get updates when they score. You can even follow what is going on around the league. All in your seat…no more of those boring time outs on the field where there is no action…you have the action in the palm of your hand.
Now, I’m posting this as a favor to all you Dolphins fans because I have actually used it first hand and can tell you it’s pretty cool. Not distracting and doesn’t take away from the game. It particularly comes in handy when you want to see that replay that the officials are reviewing. So if you are going to the game this weekend, stop in at one of the kiosks and rent one. On November 10, FanVision announced the availability of upgrades to the service, including expanded social media and fantasy football features, live RSS feeds from the nation’s leading NFL-information sources, and customized information specific to the user’s favorite NFL team. These features are added to the already robust offerings including live, uninterrupted video, instant replay for multiple angles and access to statistical information from a dedicated UHF broadcast network, unaffected by Wi-Fi problems. To access these added features, customers simply log on to www.fanvision.com and download the upgraded software at no additional charge.
In addition, FanVision made two further announcements regarding its service. In an effort to provide unparalleled in-stadium service at the best possible value, FanVision has prorated the price of its service and will offer the remainder of the 2011-12 NFL season for $199 (MSRP $249). Additionally, FanVision service, including the upgraded features, will now be available on a single-game rental basis for fans at home games. Rentals are available at the stadium of choice ($24.99).
FanVision allows fans to control and personalize their in-venue viewing experience from the palm of their hand. Other digital hand-held devices are limited by significant challenges inherent to high-density stadium environments, including “Wi-Fi gridlock” or no access to Wi-Fi networks altogether. To alleviate this issue and provide fans with fast, seamless, live and inhibited service, FanVision uses the most effective current technology available, its own dedicated UHF broadcast network.
