Jeff Fisher Would Be Great Wherever He Goes

I lived in Tennessee, due to being stationed at Ft. Campbell, and never liked the Titans. There was one thing that we all knew; the reason for the losses in Tennessee was not Jeff Fisher’s fault, but the Bud Adams’ politics that ruined the team. A friend of mine, who played for the Packers, and owned a women’s football team in Clarksville, had inside information that confirmed all of the politics being played by Adams were true.

In 2009 we watched as Collin came in, after his 13-3 season, and the wide receivers couldn’t catch anything. It didn’t matter if the ball hit them in the helmet or the numbers, they just dropped it. This was all done, because Bud Adams wanted Vince Young to be his stating QB. It took 6 weeks before the fans accepted the possibility of Young being their starter, and some still didn’t want it. Then in week eight, after a bye week, Adams got his wish and they put Young in as starting QB. All of a sudden the players that couldn’t catch balls in their lap were catching balls with one hand. This was topped off with the confirmation, that we were all correct, when after this win Bud Adams stood up from his seat and flipped off all the fans that didn’t want Young as their QB, including Fisher.

This is just one example of how Adams ruined that team and if Fisher could have coached the team the way he wanted to, he would have went a lot further then he did. Everyone knew Fisher left because he didn’t want to deal with Adams anymore. If Fisher does come to Miami, you better believe he will not want someone breathing down his neck, and Jeff Ireland would be finding another team to control.

I couldn’t agree more. I live in Houston so am well aware of the Bud Adams politics and hand wringing. We were sad to see the beloved oilers go, but glad that Adams went with them. We all liked Fisher and he did a lot with very little.
On another note, my cousin is a trainer for the Rams..He says they have all but stenciled his name on the HC office door. It’s pretty much a done deal.
