Why Miami Isn’t Doomed: A Fans Thoughts

To say that the Miami Dolphins are doomed as they reach out to what presumably is their final three interviewees, Todd Bowles, Mike McCoy, and Joe Philbin, fans are shaking their head and lining up fall-back teams to support when and if this goes further south. At least one fan looks at this and sees the possibilities. After all, every coach has to start somewhere and every coach has to become a head coach for the first time. Yes, even Don Shula and Bill Walsh.

The author of this “thread” from Finheaven.com isn’t saying that what happened in New Orleans will happen in Miami any more than Cam Cameron was going to change our franchise. He does however make a compelling case that not everything that Stephen Ross does needs to be met with indignity and disdain. In other words, there is always a possibility.

that was a great post…its easy to lose optimism in the wake of a dismal season, vacant HC position, no viable QB and a defensive CO that jumped ship. There is always hope…I am old enough to remember the Dolphins from the late 60′s and that was a pretty sorry bunch. It got better and I remember how crazy Miami was back in 1972…those were fine times.
