Tennessee Might Bring Manning Back To Florida

Ever since Manning went to Tennessee to meet with the Titans Tennessee has become a mad house. If Manning thought helicopters were bad, they were nothing compared to the Tennessee political circus.

Bud Adams is known for playing politics with the Titians organization. When the player he is paying and wants to be his starter is not the guy, he makes sure they become that guy. Of course I’m talking about the Vince Young incident. The fans did not want Young, and Fisher did not want him in there, but Bud Adams made sure his guy was going to be the starter, and when he succeeded he flipped everyone off. Bud Adams is a politician and everyone in Tennessee knows it.

Bud Adams has promised a contract to Manning that he cannot promise. He wants to give Manning a lifelong contract. This contract would be against NFL rules, and would take the vote of the 32 owners to grant. If he does not get the permission from the Teams it would destroy his team later, probably when he isn’t the owner anymore.

The big news is that the Joined House/Senate formed a resolution to throw their support to the Quarterback of their dreams. The resolution is an over dramatization claiming, “WHEREAS, we know that Peyton is still proud to be a Volunteer and longs in his heart to return to Tennessee as the quarterback for the Titans.” Then claiming, “BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we welcome Peyton Manning to Nashville, where he will surely play football for many more years and lead the Titans to several NFL championships.” This move should remind Peyton of the type of organization they run in Nashville.

If Manning does sign to the Titans, then it would show he leans more to the political side and not to the player side of the NFL. He would tarnish his image.
