Matt did a super job with what he had to work with, I liked Brandon Marshall but we can get someone to do just as good a job that is hungry and will give it 110% stop crying about what a bad team we have and look at what we can have, a young team that can win for years. Ireland brought in Bush, Moore, and Burnett for next to nothing last year and those guys made this team competitive. We lost some very close games to some very good teams-Giants, Cowboys, Pats, Broncos etc. and if Miami would have had ANYONE on the right side rather than Columbo the human turnstile who know what Moore could have done? We had no 3rd or 5th last year and still drafted a probowl center which we needed badly not to mention D Thomas, C Clay, Gates, and J Wilson, all of whom showed great promise and will be used more effectively in Philbins offense. The defense is young and damn good. We resigned Soliai at a bargain price signed Marshall who will solidify the secondary and although we lost B Marshall and Y Bell we cut salary and gained two 3rd rounders. This draft we have 4 of the top 75 picks and 5 of the top 103 picks. This draft is deep in wr, d-line and o-line all positions of need for Miami. We are in good shape and may even have learned how to pick up some more picks by moving back a few spots. Philbin believes in the draft and I believe in Philbin especially with the results the Packers have had. If you look closely we are not a bad team and we will compete this year as well as build for the future. Enough with regurgitating the same sad song as the pessimistic fan base.
