Phins 7 Round Mock: Staff Predictions

Miami Dolphins 7 Round Mock Draft
Tony Lopez Jr.
Round 1 – QB- Ryan Tannehill, Texas A&M
Round 2 – LB- Mychal Kendricks, Cal
Round 3 – WR- Marvin McNutt, Iowa
Round 3 – DE- Bruce Irvin, West Virginia
Round 4 – DE- Oliver Vernon, Miami
Round 5 – WR- Junior Hemingway, Michigan
Round 6 – OT- Tom Compton, South Dakota
Round 7 – RB- Travares Cadet, Appalachian St.
Final Thoughts: I expect the Dolphins to pick a developmental Quarterback in order to infuse hope within the fan base. Jeff Ireland has had a habit of doubling down on positions of need, so expect that to happen with Wide Receivers and Pass Rushers. Also look for them to address depth along the O Line. My surprise pick is my expectation of them to address the Linebacker position with the addition of a MLB or WLB, reason being that Kevin Burnett can occupy the vacant MLB or WLB spot and slide Karlos Dansby to SLB, his natural position in a 4-3/3-4 hybrid defense. Last but not least, the Phins can always use a dynamic return man, all the guys on the roster are serviceable.
