It looks like the Miami Dolphins will be on HBO’s famous reality TV show Hard Knocks this year. According to the team’s official twitter page, the very first episode will air on Tuesday, August 7 at 10 pm.

The program, which has featured teams like the Baltimore Ravens, The New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys, is known for giving a very personalized and often dramatic look at what it’s like inside an NFL locker room.

Though the Dolphins may not have a coach like Rex Ryan or a linebacker like Ray Lewis to ensure that the show stays interesting, there should be plenty of interesting storylines to keep viewers tuned in. Most notably, is the fact that the Dolphins are currently at the tail end of the AFC East behind the Bills, Patriots, and Jets.

Joe Philbin described the move to participate on the show a “football decision.” Hopefully this will give the Dolphins the spark they need to start turning things around in Miami
