An Interview With Dolphins Guard Richie Incognito

Earlier this morning, as the Miami Dolphins left the field following their second day of training camp, a hot sweaty Richie Incognito bypassed the showers and the media to hook up with the FinSiders and a bunch of web hacks like myself.  Richie fielded questions from a myriad of representatives from various Miami Dolphins websites, including PhinPhanatic.com where I had the opportunity to ask him a couple of questions.

My first question for Richie was in regard to the pace of the practices and how he felt the practices would benefit the team.  Richie said that the pace is faster and that this is a fast offense.  He said that it should give the team an edge with the 1:00 pm home games this season.  Following that, I asked what a lot of fans have been concerned about, that being the Hard Knocks intrusion.

According to Richie, when they first arrived it was a little weird.  He said that it took a bit to get used to seeing different faces in the halls, non-football faces.  (HBO started filming at the end of the last OTA’s).  Richie said that now, two days in to training camp, they simply blend in and are not a distraction.

PhinPhanatic is the second guest call on the video.  Hope you enjoy, and look for more interviews in the future.

Also if you are wondering, Richie Incognito prefers Coors Light beer and thinks that Reggie Bush is the Miami Dolphin that you should own in fantasy football.
