With the news that Ryan Tannehill is starting for the Miami Dolphins and the general ill feeling towards a team that has yet to produce on both offense and defense thus far in pre-season, the Dolphins are getting at least a little shot of life in the arm today. DE Cameron Wake has returned to practice after missing time and the Carolina pre-season game following a car accident a little over a week ago.
Last week the Panthers rolled over the Dolphins to a tune of 295 yards of offense in the first half. Wake did not participate in the game. The Dolphins were also without LB’s Kevin Burnett and Karlos Dansby as well as tackle Tony McDaniel. The latter have yet to return to practice. The Dolphins will open their season September 9th against the Houston Texans. The Dolphins need to get healthy quick. The return of Cameron Wake should help the team get better with the pass rush that has been sorely lacking.
