The Miami Dolphins are one player away from the league mandated 75. The 4:00 pm deadline is closing in. Today, the Dolphins released WR Julius Pruitt. Pruitt was the raved about WR in OTA’s and at the start of camp.
The news of course comes at a position that is in desperate need of a WR to standout. Pruitt was expected to take that step. Like Roberto Wallace and Marlon Moore, Pruitt has been on the roster bubble for three seasons.
Pruitt simply didn’t develop enough fast enough to stick around. His release likely means that Chris Hogan will likely make this round of cuts. Les Brown the HBO Hard Knocks favorite of episode one was released over the weekend.
