What an exciting time of the year! San Diego will be looking to finally make a trip to the Super Bowl after years of mediocrity! Houston will be attempting to make their first trip to the Super Bowl, ever. Atlanta’s high powered offense could spell trouble for a hungry San Francisco team! Let’s get into the action!!
AFC CHAMPIONSHIP:
San Diego (3) @ Houston (1):
Match up to watch: Antoine Cason v.s. Andre Johnson
Is it ironic that Mudshovel by Staind just began playing on my ipod while working on this? Such a heavy and smash mouth type of song. Exactly what I expect this game to be. Both teams have an excellent run game and should look to establish their dominance early and often. The winner will have to show off their pass attack, though. I love San Diego this season, but I think Houston has the better pass attack on offense – not to mention their defense is far superior to San Diego’s. Here’s to the first, Houston!

Atlanta (4) @ San Francisco (2):
Match up to watch: Roddy White v.s. Carlos Rogers
Atlanta has the most electric offense in the NFL, but San Francisco has the best defense in all of the land. Yes, Atlanta has a lot of talent on offense – San Francisco may have even more talent on defense – yeah, they’re that good. This ferocious defense could give Matty Ice problems all day. San Francisco should win this one at home. Don’t worry Atlanta, you’ll be back on this stage again soon.
Atlanta – 17 San Francisco – 29
So there we have it! Our Super Bowl is set! San Francisco (NFC2) @ Houston (AFC1). Look for Atlanta and San Diego be in similar positions next season! All four teams are very talented are are the future of this league!!
