Welcome to Week 21’s NFL Game Predictions: Super Bowl XLVII.
I am excited to announce that my predictions for this year’s Super Bowl will be the San Francisco 49er’s representing the NFC and the Houston Texans representing the AFC. What a game this will be!
Match up to watch: Patrick Willis and Navarro Bowman v.s. Arian Foster and Ben Tate
Analysis: These are easily the two most talented teams in the NFL. San Francisco has come a long way in three years. Yes, the team does play in the NFC West – the weakest division in the league. But the Niners are the best team in the entire NFC. Houston also plays in quite a weak conference – at the moment – in the AFC South. But, Houston has deserved every win the team managed. These teams play the good old fashioned way – solid run game and great defense. Neither quarterback will wow you will his arm, but both manage the game as good as they come. Both teams have GREAT defenses, also.
Prediction: This is tough to predict. Both teams are solid on defense. But on offense both teams are questionable at receiver. What it boils down to for me is special teams. Houston has one of the league’s best special teams units, therefore, Houston will win it’s first Super Bowl in the organization’s first trip to the big stage.
San Francisco – 23 Houston – 30
Congratulations Houston! How awesome would it be fore the Houston Texans to not only earn a trip to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history, but to also win it!? Incredible. Well there you have it fans – Houston is my pick to win it all this season!
