Just in Case You Are Thinking The Same Thing Too…

Two straight games and two straight costly missed field goals that would have put us in a better place than we are now.  I am not saying I am giving up on Carpenter, since he does have a solid cap hit, but here are a few free agents that might light a competitive fire under him:

So you tell me which one of these players would you want to bring in, or do you think we are giving up on Carpenter?

Which K would you like the Dolphins to bring in?

Oh come on! 1st and 10 at the Jets 31 yard line and they call 3 passing plays? If they get 5 yards closer they win that game. Instead he is forced to kick a 48 yarder and it angles sightly off. It’s the game coaching. Why were they passing yesterday with 3 minutes remaining? run as much time off the clock and punt it. Make them go the long field. That fumble gave them half a field to work with and the Cards still almost ran out of time. I don’t think that Philbin believes in his team. Always trying to clinch it early. Can’t stand the suspense. The one he missed yesterday was a 51 yarder. Is there anyone on that list that’s sure money from 51 yards out? Get a grip on yourself.

My friend….you need to understand that a 50yrd FG for a Kicker that makes over 1 million or more per year, should not be a hard kick. Especially Carpenter who was 13/16 from 40+ last year.

that ratio is now drastically different. Therefore, yes I am worried that someone needs to come in and push Carpenter. I think Rackers would be the best choice to at least light a motivational fire under him

Philbin didnt call the plays. Lets see if the play calling looks different after the coaches meeting.

  • Jorge

Well, there were two weeks between bad play calling. Maybe somebody needs to bring in some competition for Philbin cause the guy is way over his head. Here’s a guy who is brought in as an Xs and Os genius and the first thing he says is the Xs and Os don’t matter. It’s the players. Well gee, tell that to 49s and the Ravens and countless other teams that change after a good head coaching change. All this while he trades away the talent. Do you think they could have used Chad Johnson yesterday? Naanee caught his first pass for the season and we all know how that turned out. OK, I didn’t like what Chad did but lets remember that Naanee came here after being cut for getting in trouble with the law! If you’re going to enforce policies selectively try doing it keeping the better player. Cause cutting Chad after signing Naanee is a farce. They should bring in the competition for Philbin and put him in charge of making sure nobody curses on the sidelines and picking up wrappers. That’s what he’s good at!
