The Miami Dolphins have cut yet another Jeff Ireland free agent signing. This time, WR Anthony Armstrong.
Armstrong was a waiver claim after final cuts were made in the NFL. He has been hampered by a leg injury and simply has not provided the Dolphins with the deep threat option they had hoped for. With Jabar Gaffney now active and Marlon Moore finally showing some bite on the offense, the Dolphins didn’t need to hold on to another WR.
The next question is who fills his spot on the roster and where will that spot come from?
Armstrong, in his 2nd go around with Miami contributed three catches for a combined 12 yards. His activity in Miami was so scarce that I couldn’t even find a good picture of him in a Dolphins uniform.
