The Miami Dolphins are hours away from taking on the Indianapolis Colts and a leg up in the playoff chase. Entering the week, questions surrounded the health of the Dolphins. While Indy was getting back Robert Mathis and and a healthier Dwight Freeney, the Dolphins were potentially losing two offensive components.
Ryan Tannehill, nursing a hyper-extended knee and deep quad bruise practiced most of the week but was and is still a question mark. The latest report is that Tannehill will dress for the game and take the warm-ups as the starter. If he is able to handle the pain, he will start. If not, Matt Moore will get the nod.
On the outside, Brian Hartline has been limited in practice with a groin injury. Latest report on the Dolphins number one wide-out is that he will play despite being listed as questionable. Hartline has only 8 catches for 100 yards over the last three games after lighting up the Cardinals for 258 yards in week 4.
Today’s game will feature two rookie QB’s with high expectations on their shoulders from fan bases. The victor of this game will not be guaranteed a playoff spot but will gain some leverage against the other, gain a win in the conference, and for the Dolphins, a share of first with the Patriots atop the AFC East.
