Cam Cameron Canned...Again

The Baltimore Ravens have fired Cam Cameron after another poor offensive season with the team.  Cameron was the top of the line offensive genius coming out of San Diego and was hired by former Miami Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga to replace the Alabama bound Nick Saban.  Cameron was immediately put on the hot seat by the fans when he blundered his first and only draft.

“You will all love Ted Ginn, Jr. and his entire family” he infamously said among a crowd of booing fans at the teams draft party in 2007.  His drafting of John Beck in round 2 was met with more ridicule and he did himself no favors with comments like “Fail forward fast”.  Today, he isn’t failing at anything because he has no job.  Unable to make a system work with Joe Flacco, Cameron will seek employment elsewhere for 2013.

The Ravens have promoted Jim Caldwell.  Caldwell was fired by the Indianapolis Colts following last season.

In other former Dolphins head coaching news, Todd Bowles who oversaw the team following last year firing of Tony Sparano may be headed to Temple as their next HC.
