Randy Starks Heads To Honolulu

The Miami Dolphins were dealt a small blow on Monday when impending free agent DT Randy Starks added a little bit of bling to his 2012 resume.  Following the news that Vince Wilfork of New England won’t be making the trip, Starks was added to the Pro-Bowl roster.

The news is great for Starks who will be a free agent in March.  For the Dolphins, any intent or desire to sign the now 2 time Pro-Bowler for cheap went out the window.  Starks has played every game for the Dolphins since his arrival five seasons ago and his ability to move around on the defensive line makes him a valuable asset.

Just a short few weeks ago the Dolphins were set to send only Cameron Wake to Hawaii for the annual game but find themselves with 4 players on the AFC squad.  Joining Wake and Starks are coach selection LS John Denney and OG Richie Incognito.

Starks came one time out away from blocking an attempted field goal against the NY Jets in week 3.
