Mike Wallace Will Wear No. 11 With the Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins newly acquired wide receiver Mike Wallace will wear No. 11 in the 2013-14 season.

Wallace, who wore No. 17 with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has decided to let Ryan Tannehill keep his number and forgo with a new look.

I have a feeling the new-look jerseys, and particularly No. 11, will be worn all throughout Sun Life Stadium.

Well, I am thrilled Mr. Wallace wont wear # 19, which should be retired as it’s a jinxed #. Wearing # 11 is a previledge, or al least should be seen that way (don’t know if the new mgmnt and staff know that) but 11 used to belong to a certain player who went by the name of Jim “Crash” Jensen. Not only was he a reliable receiver, but he was an actual QB, could punt, kck, pass and catch, probably all at the same time I’m sure, had he been asked to. There it is… wear the number 11 with pride and do it proud.
