Join Our Charity Fantasy Football Leagues Today

It’s that time of year when the itch to play fantasy football can finally be scratched. We enter the 2013 season of training camp and pre-season NFL games with an eye towards the third week of August when all of us “Fantasy Geeks” prep to draft. This year, we here at PhinPhanatic.com will be hosting our annual charity FF leagues and you can join now. Draft dates will be set for late August to make sure you don’t get saddled with a Jeremy Maclin type draft pick.
So how does it work? It’s simple. Our leagues are hosted on ESPN. It’s a $25.00 buy in with $5.00 of your entry fee going to our charity drive. The Miami Dolphins Cycling Challenge for Cancer research. More on that later. This year you will compete against ELEVEN not 12 teams. The 12th team I will manage as a real team but it will not count. If my team makes the playoffs, the team next in the leagues standings will take my place.
The payouts for the leagues will be as follows:

Another league option is that I will manage or serve as commissioner of your 10/12 team league for a donation to this charity. Contact me at PhinPhanatic23@yahoo.com to discuss further. In addition, you do not have to be a Dolphins fan in fact feel free to invite your friends and play together. The point is this is all for charity 100%. Even small donations can make a huge difference.

Each person who enters one of our league will also automatically be given the password information to join our weekly “Pick-em” league where they winner receive a prize package at the end of the year. The prize package consists of various Miami Dolphins items that have been collected at Web Weekend events over the past few years. Including gameday programs, cheerleader pictures, decals, t-shirts or other outerwear, official team media guides, or more. Each member will also have their names added to our 2013 Charity Drive participation list located on our PhinPhanatic.com main page menu under “Charity Donors”. Their names will remain on that page until the next season of fantasy football begins!
100% of the money raised through these leagues is either paid back to the winners or donated o the Miami Dolphins Cycling Challenge. Our site donates that money under the cyclist “Tom Eddie” who helped create another Miami Dolphins Fan Site but lost his battle to cancer. The Cycling Challenge raises money for Cancer research at the Sylvester Cancer Research Center and 100% of those donations go to research and not administration costs. This is the fourth year that we have participated in this campaign.

Important Note: Once a league is full no entry payments will be refunded due to the difficulty of replacing teams once leagues are filled.
