Sturgis Returns To Dolphins Practice

Those of you on the edge of your seat awaiting details of the kicker competition in Miami will be pleased to know that Caleb Sturgis has returned to kicking in practice for the Miami Dolphins.  He made all of his attempts today and the real competition will come on Sunday when the Phins take on the Cowboys in the HOF game.

Sturgis missed time with a groin injury but it appears that he is now ready to resume his pursuit of Dan Carpenter‘s job.

While Sturgis returned to practice, Randy Starks and Jared Odrick missed time due to leg injuries. Neither will likely play on Sunday.  Joe Philbin is not releasing an injury report until he absolutely has to.  Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace will likely sit as well.

Jonathan Martin had a sack free practice today.

Ryan Tannehill will play Sunday according to Joe Philbin.  How long is a different story.

The Dolphins look to be making strides in the Red Zone but they have not been making strides in getting to the Red Zone.
