Brian Hartline Calls Keller Hit "Crap"

Brian Hartline very rarely gets emotional off the field, but when his fellow tight end Dustin Keller went down with an season-ending injury, he wasn’t going to be silent.

Hartline, one of Ryan Tannehill‘s many targets, called the low hit by Texans safety D.J. Swearinger on Keller in Saturday’s game “crap.”

“It’s crap,” Hartline told WQAM’s The Joe Rose Showregarding the explanation.  ”I mean I think that, me personally, if you’re telling me, ‘Oh, I’m so worried about going high or hurt[ing] the head,’ you consciously went low then, is what you’re trying to tell me.”

Keller has been placed on IR with a torn ACL, MCL, PCL and a dislocated knee.

I agree with Brian 100%. The hit by DJ
was a cowardly act. He never allowed
Dustin to turn around before taking an
AXE to his knees. His hitting low excuse
is lame (pardon the pun). There wasn’t
any ” good faith ” sportsmanship on that
play. Ending someone’s NFL carrer is
nothing to be proud of. How sad.
