Devlin Gets Dolphins Starting Nod

The Miami Dolphins are on the field for their first possession and it’s Pat Devlin at the QB spot and not Matt Moore.  Should fans read anything into that?  Hard to say.

The Dolphins could be looking to see if Devlin has improved enough to warrant the team keeping three QB’s on their roster.  They could be looking to see if Devlin could show enough to draw some trade interest or perhaps it’s Matt Moore they want to bait.

The Dolphins are as expected resting all of their starters but it’s a little surprising that for the second week in a row Matt Moore has taken a second seat to the Dolphins 3rd team QB.

Devlin looked good last night. I am hoping he is kept as the third QB. There is no way he clears waivers. Plus, next year he’d be the backup. I just wonder about Matt Moore and him sitting the last two games. Does Miami trade Moore? But he has no trade value. And its apparent Sims should start at TE. He may not be a seam threat, but he’s a good red zone target for Tannehill. Use Egnew or Rodriguez out wide for the seam threat TE. And lots of talented WRs at Miami. The cutdown to 53 is going to be hard there.

The Fish never gave Bumphis a chance at WR (till late, 2 catches)… He’s getting hosed!!! I say drop Devlin and keep 6 WRs!!
Wallace, Hartline, Gibson, Mathews.. AND McNutt and/or Bumphis!!! Or keep Devlin and cut McNutt, but keep Bump on 53!!! Fingers crossed
