Dolphins’ Ross Drops 200 Million On Michigan

The University of Michigan is 200 million dollar richer today after that amount fell out of Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross‘ pocket and blew North to Ann Arbor.  The donation is the single largest donation in the schools history.  Ross who has been at the center of Sun-Life Stadium upgrades came up 289 million dollars short of getting renovations.

Now, citizens of Miami may be asking why he didn’t put that 200 million into the stadium instead of into Michigan.   Ross pointed out quickly that the two were completely different subjects and that he was already investing over 200 million dollars of his own money into the project.

Many local Miamians won’t really care what his reasons are.  Regardless, Ross who has promised half of his money to be turned over to charity upon his death has been a philanthropist most of his life.

With cities around the NFL chipping in large figures for new upgrades or new stadiums, the Dolphins failed to rally their local’s.

Ross of course is an Alumni of Michigan.

Certainly the school. will prophet , plus I’m sure he’s upset over the consensus voting _ no to higher taxes. Llong term, a few pennies tax would’ve turned around in revenues. The new stadium could have brought the SB back & more. , benefiting Dade, Broward& Palm Beach County.

The Dolphins are lucky to have an owner of his caliber. Only in Miami can a man so generous be disparaged.
