Dolphins Fans Deserve Credit

The Miami Dolphins fan base is not exactly comparable to say the Green Bay Cheeseheads.  Or the Browns DawgPound.  Or about 15 to 20 other NFL teams.  It’s a fact not a slant on those living within distance to watch a game live rather than in the AC of their own home.  Over the last decade and a half attendance has dwindled.  Just like the Dolphins win total.

Today the fans showed up!

The Dolphins needed a strong home team crowd and while there will still plenty of teal seats showing and orange seats around the rim, the stadium was as full today as it has been in years.  The raucous crowd even got props from the broadcasting crew of Chris Meyers and Tim Ryan.  Ryan and Meyers both made comments regarding the noise level in the stadium.

Following the tying TD by Brian Hartline the stadium erupted making it difficult for the Atlanta offense.  When the Falcons moved back down the field to set up the go ahead FG the Dolphins fans didn’t let air get sucked out of the stadium.  They came back stronger and louder.  If 2-0 did this much for the stadium what will 3-1 or 4-0 do when the team returns from New Orleans next week?  I imagine it will be packed.

I haven’t been to a home game with a sold out crowd in over two decades but will be live for the Buffalo game following the bye week.  It’s safe to say that if the Dolphins continue to play this way and win the stadium will be a site I have not witnessed since the days of Dan Marino.

I am pretty hard on the Miami fan base and I honestly don’t try to hide it.  Today, I give them a world of props because they had as much to do with the Miami win as the game winning drive by Tannehill.  We now know the answer to the question of when will the Dolphins fans return?  Apparently 2-o is a great start.

The fans do deserve credit, but so does Steven Ross for not listening to a bunch of whining babies. How many people think the dolphins are hopeless now and need a reboot?

jeff ireland is the best GM in the NFL hands down. i have been saying this for years. people called me names and told me i was on crack. the guy hits on over 60% of his draft picks. the NY media is to blame for this. miami am radio is owned by people from NY/NE/CHI. How many more radio hosts do they have that been cut by Jeff Ireland. Heath Evans to
Channing Crowder, to idiots that are still crying because Jeff Ireland cut them years ago. Omar Kelly is not even a Dolphins fan yet he is the main reporter for the dolphins. He said jeff ireland sucked becuase he did not sign Vick, or Young. He has bashed every white QB the fins had the past years. Omar Kelly is as racist as they come. If the Fins win Next week and they have a very good chance at 16 and 0. Trust me

the fans are wanted some offensive help for their young QB , but Miami fans have been waiting a long time to breech the mediocrity line. The spark is back at Sun- Life The play makers mild mannered Philbin has brought to the team , a new exuberance for Miami’s Dolphin fans has returned – they man handled the Falcons bringing the team to 3-0. 2002 was the last time Miami has been so excited over a team other than the Heat.

Miami has drawn great crowds considering record and competition for fan draw. What are you going to do in Cleveland or Green Bay if you don’t go to the game? Nothing. In Miami you’ve got several great pro teams in all the sports, along with a bunch of great college teams, along with aquariums, theme parks, clubs, the beach, cruises, museums, concerts, and on and on. The dolphins compete with so much more to draw fans. The seats in the stadium are orange. Your grammar is terrible. Just go online and find Chris Barker, Norcal Dolfan, Dolphinatics NM, Arizona Dolfan, the Dolphins Bandits etc. The Dolphins have a tight, loyal, undying fan base like no other in the leage that’s stuck with them in the best and worst of times.

also most teams in the south do not have a middle class. people do not have the money to go to a game.

now all we need is a new logo. our team looks so stupid out there with that ugly whale on it. Bring back the old logo, bring back the real dolphins logo.
