Im tickled Aqua with the 3-0 but seriously, we aint no where near the playoffs yet. I think it would have been prudent to wait until the end of the year.

Don, I am not nor have I ever been on the Fireland bandwagon. This guy doesn’t get enough credit for his body of work. Had he listened to the fanbase, this team would be in shambles still. I actually think he is one of the better GMs around and builds his teams based on his coachs’ philosophy, not his own.

While I’ve questioned a few moves myself, I’ve been a fan of Ireland through much of it. The popular move is not always the best move, and Ireland seems to provide the team with what they need as opposed to what the fans want. He has put a solid, young, talented and viable product out there on the field that appears to have an extremely high ceiling. Many key contributors on the teams final drive were players that were built into Miami’s roster through the drafts of the past 3 seasons, as well as an underrated free agent signing. The man is showing that he finds value, but is also not afraid to make the big move when it makes sense and makes the players around that player better by signing/drafting him.
