Dolphins Make Roster Moves

Following the release of Fullback Tyler Clutts and Safety Kelcie McCray on Tuesday, the Dolphins have resigned Linebacker Austin Spitler to the roster.

Austin Spitler was on the roster through training camp until being released on August 31, 2013.  Drafted by the Dolphins in the 7th Round of the 2010 NFL draft, Spitler is in his fourth season with the team.  Spitler is a speedy linebacker who contributes on special teams.

Clutts was signed by Miami from the Texans after he was released following the preseason, and was with the Dolphins for all four games thus far, starting one.  Clutts doesn’t have a regular season carry or reception since his rookie season in 2011 with the Chicago Bears.

McCray was a promising young safety and special teamer for the Dolphins.
