Jordan Kovacs Promoted, Jones Likely Out

The Miami Dolphins moved Jordan Kovacs from the practice squad  and planted him on the teams 53 man roster.  The move comes one day before the team faces the Baltimore Ravens.  The move also could be an indication that rookie Don Jones will miss tomorrow’s game.  Jones hurt his arm last week and has been out of practice.  The rookie strong safety will get his chance to prove to the coaches that he can contribute more than on the practice squad.

Kovacs will likely seen the field on Sunday as a special teams player.  The Dolphins re-signed Austin Spitler earlier in the week due to some banged up ST players.

I’m not sure if it’s an indication on Jones injury, or to replace the hole at Safety with McCrae being released. I know Clemons was banged up as well… Should be interesting.
