If you have kept up with NFL the past couple of days, you know that the Buffalo Bills have signed QB Matt Flynn, who was formerly with the Oakland Raiders. Before drafting Ryan Tannehill, Flynn was among the names atop the Dolphins’ list of possible interests before signing with the Seattle Seahawks. Looking back now, it looks like Jeff Ireland made the right choice, as Flynn finds himself on his third team in so many years.
Should starting quarterback Thad Lewis struggle against an above average Miami defense this Sunday, there is a chance Miami will face their old interest, as Flynn is option 2 thanks to injuries to E.J. Manuel and Kevin Kolb, not to mention the anemic abilities of Jeff Tuel.
It will be exciting to see how the once coveted QB fares against a team with former interest.
